You can create a group in the "Connect" section by clicking on Groups > Create Group.
Type in the required information and save it.
The name you provide is the display name. The Homebase can be a city, region or just worldwide, it should help others to find local groups easier. Be creative in the about text to attract new members.
One important thing about groups is the privacy level; the following levels are available:
- Private: only members can view content of the group, view other members and admins. This group is by invitation only.
- Closed: Anyone can see the admins or this group. Others can join the group by being invited or by sending a request. Only members can view content of the group and its members.
- Public: everyone can see content in this group, view the members and admins and can join the group at any time.
It's that easy, now you can invite your friends to your group!
